Description:
The coin-like token plated with silver commemorates the tragedy of 9/11, when terrorists crushed aircrafts into the buildings of World Trade Center. The round bears the related images made in perfect minting quality. One side of the token depicts the symbol of America, Statue of Liberty, in front of twin towers. The picture is framed by the border which contains the date of the tragic incident and the commemorating inscription in English, dedicated to those who died in the terrorist attacks. The opposite side of the medal depicts the figures of firefighters against the background showing the ruined towers of WTC. The words along the lower rim read “American Heroes”, due to firefighters were those heroes saving people from the burning skyscrapers. Many of them died doing their dangerous job as well.
