    Description

    Hello up for sals is Kereb es Sefiat 002 classified as an H3 chondrite. This gorgeous slice weighs 7.094 grams, it has a perfect mirror polish on one side with very unique dark matrix, and lots of dense chondrules containing devitrified glass are set in a fine grained matrix containing altered kamacite, chromite and troilite. This meteorite is classified as an H3 "Type 3" and originally thought to be a CH carbonaceous. It comes with COA card, thanks for your interest and take care!!

    Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and J. Boesenberg, BrownU) Relatively small well-formed, unequilibrated chondrules (apparent diameter 460±300 µm, N = 25) containing devitrified glass are set in a fine grained matrix containing altered kamacite, chromite and troilite.
    Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H3).
    Specimens: 14.9 g including one polished thin section at UWB; remainder with Mr. M. Stream.
